GTX 1060 was a great affordable graphics card in the previous years but with the introduction of GTX 16 series and RTX 2060 it falls behind. RTX 2060 is indeed the best in these three. GTX 1060 shows that it is aging as the fps drop when playing demanding games. It still can hold its own though. GTX 1660 Ti is closer to the specs of RTX 2060 with a difference of around 10-15fps. 10-15 fps is not necessarily felt while playing for the average customer.

The only reason to buy the 2060 is its ray tracing ability in games to give better details at a lower fps but with the lack of games support for ray tracing, it is not convenient.
